Meet my friend, Valerie Smaldone!! Isn’t she the cutest? She is a DJ extraordinaire who you probably know (or at the very least know her voice) from radio station LITE FM 106.7 here in New York.
We took this photo together at an ovarian cancer charity event last week which she organized and I attended. Just a wonderful event filled with love and hope. Phoebe Snow performed and rocked the house too!! I have to tell you that she is really an awesome human being and hilariously funny too. Anyway, Valerie was able to raise lots of money…and my husband Steven bought me a pair of garnet and diamond earrings that were on auction. (How much do I love this man!!)
So, in celebration of life, laughter, charity and our one year anniversary as friends…this blog celebrates you…Valerie Smaldone!!!

Love people and love to help where I can. From illnesses and hospital charities, to the homeless and the hungry, to battered women, underpriveleged children, to museums, library’s, NYC police and firefighters, the arts, I give everywhere!! Its the only right thing to do when you are blessed in your life..to give back to others!!
