My House, My Reality Show Pitch

Hi everyone!! I’m getting ready to leave in a few days to go to my house in the Berkshires of Massachusetts….. which has been under construction….for way too long!!! I’ll have to see the movie “The Money Pit” after the job is finally done, it hasn’t been so funny lately!!! LOL
Anyway…my parents are finally coming to see the house with some aunts and uncles for the official christening of it before they head back to Florida for the winter!!! I am so excited. They haven’t seen it yet and I may share a few pics with you along the way!!! Especially my front doors..you will all crack up!!!
In any event…I’ve been meaning to tell you all about my roadtrip with Victoria Jackson (SNL fame, Romeo fame, and special friend on CFC 2 with me). She just cracks me up. She’s up for the lead in Legally Blonde right now so I am PRAYING that she gets it. Everyone must do the same…she is perfect for the part. Anyway, we met in LA to pitch a new reality show/sitcom along with her COLLEGE PROFESSOR…David Athey. I must admit, I’m starting to get old, the professor looked like he could be my kid!! 
Everyone who we pitched to loved the idea. Personally, I never did a pitch before so I am not sure what constitutes success….but I think we had it. We had a blast, running around, met some very fun people along the way, had some hilarious meetings with lots of laughter and we are going to hear something soon I am sure. When I know something…you will know too!!! But in the meantime, keep your fingers crossed for us…this could be a WINNER!!!

Hey Wendy…I had just had my daughter by c-section when The Money Pit came out on video(ok now I feel old too) and my niece had to hold a pillow against my stomach since I was afraid I would pop all my staples I was laughing so hard. Very cute analogy, but I’m sure the house will turn out wonderfully.
You never said, what’s the premise for the new reality show/sitcom? I have to be honest with you, I don’t watch much television because there simply isn’t much platable anymore.
Prayers for Victoria and for getting this sitcom rolling. I wish you both all the best and many more smiles.

Hi Amy…Hi Carly…victoria is just a hoot!! So funny and she takes tons of photos so I will make sure that she checks out the site and sends me something to post. As for the house, the next time I get there..I’ll take some photos and post them. You will crack up from my moose doors. They are fantastic. I need to name the place though…so when you see the photos, maybe some of you will send me some suggestions.
