Hugs for Macy’s!!!!

This Fourth of July, while watching the explosion of fireworks take over the moon and sky of NYC it made me love Macy’s even more than the hotdog I was eating.
(Which had the perfect ratio of deli mustard to kraut on a lightly toasted warm bun and a side of baked beans)
Seriously look at all they do for our city?!
Besides the 4th, what would Thanksgiving be without them too? It’s not just New York, but the entire country prepares for a succulent white meat and gravy dinner by watching Garfield, SpongeBob and the rest of our inflated friends float down the avenue!
Also on a personal level, I can relate to most of the balloons in the parade….so I get especially moved.
After all Macy’s does for us, I think we need to give back to them.
The least we can all do is make a Macy’s purchase this year.
Can you imagine if everyone in the country shopped at Macy’s to say thanks? Then we would all see more floats, larger fireworks, louder fanfare, year after year.
And bigger is always better!

Hi Karen….Hey, I know its been awhile since I was online…but how was your 4th? Sorry I didn\’t write sooner!! The only thing I didn\’t get around to eating were the fresh raspberry and apple pies I accidentally left in my fridge when I went to my friends rooftop. Oh well…it was a perfect night anyway and I did get to eat them afterward..for days and days

Hey Kim…sorry I’m a bit delayed in my responses..but I assure you that I will get better at this stuff!!!
At the moment we are working on getting an entire online community up and running…and I can’t wait for that. Also, real people are going to be my models…so volunteer later when I’m going to need my VIP’S!!!

I love Macy’s too- and I’m not even a New Yorker
They took over a Dept store here and did a great turn-around the plus section! Wendy, as much as you hate stupid shirt with sequins and kites, I hate those grandma sweatshirts with the built in collars and cutesy snowbirds -And they’re replaced with tons of cute stuff. Thank you Macy’s!
